This is an area we specialise in and undertake all of our building surveys using our Leica Laser Scanners for rapid data capture to minimalise disruption during the process. This method also captures lots of additional data which can be referred to at a later date often negating the need for costly returns to site. These highly accurate, registered point clouds are used to extract traditional 2D drawings or can be the supplied end product. Nuplan also offers a web hosted solution for meshed true colour point clouds using Hexagons Reality Cloud Studio , negating the need for large file downloads and enabling our clients to "visit site and take dimensions" from their own desk!

3D Laser Scanning

Laser Scanning is the process of rapidly collecting 3D points which through their density represent a “point cloud” this can be manipulated and enhanced to produce 3D models or simply issued as cloud data. Nuplan offer this service utilising the latest Leica scanners and processing software, to provide clients with a full 3D real-time data capture solution suitable for highly detailed work, or within areas which require rapid data collection.
